What kind of fabric do we use for printing on our T-Shirts?

by James Diaz

We try to offer various styles to ensure you have plenty of options when shopping with us. We know that you can buy from any apparel company, so we are incredibly grateful when you choose to purchase a new t-shirt, tank top, or hat from On The Rock. However, not all brands are created equal, and we make producing quality t-shirts a top priority. So when you are shopping for christian apparel, there is something important that you should consider: the fabric used in creating the clothing.

Fabric is essential for many reasons, as the material used can make or break a shirt. Do you want to put on a shirt that is rough and scratchy? How about a tank top that weighs you down? We don't think so! That is why we use materials that are lightweight and soft. We offer 100% cotton blends, poly blends, and tri-blends.

We tend to lean towards ring-spun cotton versus standard cotton, but we use both in our designs. The main benefits of ring-spun cotton are its softness and strength. Ring-spun cotton is made by continuously twisting and thinning the cotton strands, creating a very fine and strong rope of cotton fibers that makes it more durable than standard cotton.

The other reason we use these fabric types is that the print quality and design will look better. The tight weave leads to a better result, and we want to create designs that pop on your shirts.

Ultimately Ring-Spun Cotton is high-end and does not shrink as much as your average 100% cotton shirt.

Rock your faith!
